Our free Young Dragons sessions have landed back at Maiden Vale Library, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome a new wave of adventurers aboard.

This is an exciting activity for children and young people (ages 11 to 17) who already love D&D—or who are curious and ready to explore what it’s all about. Join us at Maida Vale Library every Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm during school term, where you’ll create your own character and begin an unforgettable adventure.

What is D&D?
Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop role-playing game set in a rich fantasy universe. You create a character and journey alongside friends through a story shaped by your choices. With a mix of creative thinking, teamwork, and a bit of dice-rolling luck, you’ll explore worlds where imagination knows no bounds.

Term-Time Sessions Only
Our free sessions at Maiden Vale Library now run during school term only and do not take place over the school holidays.

These sessions are always incredibly popular, so we strongly recommend reserving your place directly with the library as early as possible, spaces fill up fast!

More Than Just Fun
Beyond the adventures, D&D helps build valuable real-world skills. Players develop maths, English, and problem-solving abilities, all while having a fantastic time. It can even count towards your Duke of Edinburgh Award skills section!
